The police have arrested 38-year-old Arjan Cengu because in 2021, when he was an employee at the Kukes Prosecutor's Office, he influenced to ease a security measure.
In 2021, Arjan Cengu worked as a driver at the Kukes Prosecutor's Office and intervened to free a prisoner. Now he practiced as a lawyer.
For the 38-year-old, the security measure "Arrest in prison" has been assigned, for the criminal offense "Exercising illegal influence on persons exercising public functions".
"Illegally influenced, in 2021 when he was an employee at the Kukes Prosecutor's Office, in order to facilitate a security measure, the 38-year-old, currently a lawyer, was put in handcuffs.
The arrest of this citizen is the result of cooperation between the Directorate of the Special Operational Force, in the DPPSH, and the Local Police Directorate of Kuka.
The Police Services, following the order of the prosecutor of the Special Prosecution against Corruption and Organized Crime, stopped in Kukës and handcuffed the citizen AC, 38 years old, resident of Kukës.
The 38-year-old has been assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense "Exercising illegal influence on persons exercising public functions", as it is suspected that on 05.03.2021, when the AC citizen was an employee at the Prosecutor's Office of Kukës, has exerted illegal influence, in order to ease the security measure, assigned to the FI citizen", announced the police.
