A 37-year-old man has been arrested by the Korça police, after being wanted for "Drug Trafficking" and "Production and Sale of Narcotics".
The young man is the associate of 46-year-old Julian Belortaja, arrested on October 26. The latter was caught in the village of Vishociçë, Devoll, transporting 16 kilograms of cannabis towards Greece.
"As a result of the intensive work carried out by the structures of the Korça DVP, following the operation coded "Cross Border", carried out 4 days ago, after several weeks of investigations using proactive methods, to crack down on the criminal activities of cultivation, production and trafficking of narcotics towards the Greek state, the citizen declared wanted within the framework of this operation was detained:
DM, 37 years old, to whom the Korça Court, on 29.10.2025, has assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Trafficking in narcotics" and "Production and sale of narcotics".
"The investigations suspect that citizen DM is an accomplice of citizen JB, who was arrested in the village of Vishociçë, Devoll, during the operation conducted 4 days ago, transporting 16 kg of cannabis narcotics towards Greece," the police announced.
