Justice defector Nuredin Dumani revealed details of the murder of Elvis Deda during today's hearing at the Special Court for Corruption and Organized Crime.
Dumani stated that Elvis Deda was killed by Henrik Hoxha and Festim Qoli. According to Dumani, Henrik himself told him that he committed the murder from a moving car.
Excerpts from the conversation:
Lawyer: How did you communicate with Festim?
Dumani: I used to tell my aunt's son who worked at the bar. I knew Festimi's whole family. I would sometimes sit with Petrit Qoli.
Lawyer: What did Festimi tell you about the murder of Elvis Deda?
Dumani: The car they used in the murder was brought to Festimi from Fushë Kosova. Elvis Deda or Losha was having lunch. Enriku shot him and Festimi, who was the driver, also got out. They burned the car and fled for several kilometers on foot. Festimi told me this.
Festimi told me he was our brother. Because I knew Henriku at the time. I knew Elvis Dedja as a friend of Festimi. I saw him at the bar. I didn't have any friends with Dedja.
Henriku told me about the murder and told me that he was drunk when he did the Elvis Deda incident. He told me, "I went out, I shot him, I was drunk."
