The German police confiscated about 8 kilograms of drugs during checks east of Leipzig, while 4 Albanians were arrested.
Further leads also led to Rostock, where around 1,300 cannabis plants were found in one facility. The operation was part of an investigation by the Leipzig public prosecutor's office into suspected drug trafficking in large quantities.
Two of the suspects, a 28-year-old and a 30-year-old were caught in Leipzig, two others, a 45-year-old and a 32-year-old in Rostock.
The searches took place in the Schönefeld-Ost and Neustadt-Neuschönefeld districts. There, the police services found, among other things, marijuana, amphetamines and crystal.
In addition to cannabis plants, various technical equipment for cultivation in the so-called indoor facility were also found near Rostock.
