A 55-year-old woman was put in the handcuffs of the border police of Kapshtica, after being declared wanted after being convicted of exploitation of prostitution.
Official sources from the police informed that Fëlleza Saliaj, who was sentenced to 7 years in prison, a resident of Patos, was caught on her way to Albania.
"Sentenced to 7 years of imprisonment, for exploitation for prostitution, under aggravating circumstances, the 55-year-old woman declared wanted is detained in the PKK Kapshtica. The services of the Kapshtica Border Police Station, at the entrance to the Republic of Albania, detained the citizen declared in search Fëlleza Saliaj, 55 years old, resident of Patos.
The Court of Appeal of Vlora has upheld the decision of the Court of Fier for the sentence of this citizen, with 7 years imprisonment, for the criminal offense of "Exploitation for prostitution", under aggravating circumstances. In 2005, citizen Fëlleza Saliaj exploited another citizen for prostitution. Further procedural actions were carried out by the Fier Local Police Directorate", the police announcement states.
