Two people have been arrested in Prrenjas as part of an anti-drug operation conducted by the Elbasan Police.
Citizens with the initials Gj. K., 32 years old, and KR, 29 years old, both residents of Prrenjas, were arrested.
During the search conducted at the premises managed by the 32-year-old, police found 76 doses and a quantity of suspected cocaine, which was allegedly prepared for sale.
Also, tools used to divide drugs into doses were seized, as well as a sum of money suspected to have been derived from criminal activity.
Meanwhile, the 29-year-old was arrested on the premises of the bar and, according to police, he is suspected of having knowledge of the 32-year-old's criminal activity, but had not reported it.
"Narcotics Investigation Specialists, in cooperation with the services of the Special Operational Force, in continuation of operations against criminal activities in the field of narcotics, based on controls, operational work and investigations, finalized, under the direction of the Elbasan Prosecutor's Office, the operation codenamed "Rrethinat".

Meanwhile, the 29-year-old was arrested on the premises of this bar and is suspected of having knowledge of the criminal activity of citizen Gj. K., and had not reported it. The procedural materials were referred to the Elbasan Prosecutor's Office for further action," the police statement said.
