The police of Shkodra destroyed over 5638 cannabis plants and seedlings as part of the "Clean Territory" operation.
The police also discovered 5416 cannabis plants and seedlings in the territory of the administrative unit of Pult and Velipojë, Shale, Postribë.
Also, the services of the Malësi e Madhe Police Station found and destroyed 160 cannabis plants in the territory of the Shkrel administrative unit;
While the services of the Fushë Arrëz Police Station found and destroyed 62 cannabis plants in the territory of the Fierzë administrative unit.
"As a result of intensive controls throughout the territory of the district, 5,638 plants and seedlings and suspected cannabis were found and destroyed.
In the framework of the national mega-operation "Clean Territory", against the cultivation of narcotic plants, the services of the Shkodra Local Police Directorate and the subordinate police stations have intensively followed the controls in the entire territory of the district, with the aim of ascertaining and cracking down on cases of this criminal activity. During this phase of the mega operation:
- the services of the Shkodër Police Commissariat found in the territory of the administrative unit Pult and Velipojë, Shale, Postribë and destroyed 5416 cannabis plants and seedlings;
- the services of the Malësi e Madhe Police Station found and destroyed 160 cannabis plants in the territory of the Shkrel administrative unit;
- the services of the Fushë Arrëz Police Station found and destroyed 62 cannabis plants in the territory of the Fierzë administrative unit.
The work continues for the identification, capture and prosecution of the perpetrators of the cultivation of these cannabis plants and seedlings.
