SPAK has once again struck Franc Çopja's criminal organization in Elbasan, in connection with the international trafficking of cocaine from Latin American countries to Europe.
This criminal group, based in Elbasan, trafficked 28 tons of cocaine to Europe in 2 different episodes, of which 17 tons were seized.
The Special Court, at the request of SPAK, issued 16 arrest warrants in total after the operation in the cities of Elbasan, Lushnje, Durrës, and Tirana. Of the 16 security measures, 14 are “prison arrest” and 2 are “compulsory appearance.”
Security measures have been implemented for 10 people, while 6 others are being sought.
In Albania, 7 people have been arrested: Ervis Çela and his brother Ardian Çela, Petrit Lakatos, Renato Mullai, Gëzim Çela, Mariglen Kamami and Elidon Çela. While in Belgium, Franc Çopja has been arrested. While Denis Daja and Kujtim Gjyla are under arrest in our country.
