Two people have been arrested by the Tirana Police, while several others have been charged after being involved in organizing gambling.
According to the Police announcement, during the checks and investigative actions, three premises were discovered where various games of chance were organized, while gaming machines, a poker table, chips, gambling cards and mobile phones that were suspected of being used for sports betting were seized.
As part of the operation, a 22-year-old man was arrested in flagrante delicto, while M. Zh., 50 years old, and A. Zh., 25 years old, were declared wanted. According to the investigation, the three citizens are suspected of organizing games of chance in a rented premises on "Aleks Çaçi" street. During the search in this premises, two slot machines, a poker table, chips and gambling cards were found.
Meanwhile, a 39-year-old man was also arrested by the police after a slot machine and a mobile phone were seized from the premises he rented in Bathore, which were suspected of being used to organize gambling.
Criminal proceedings have also been initiated against citizens SG, 21 years old, OC, 19 years old, RH, 27 years old and FD, 67 years old. During a search at a bar on "Irfan Tomini" street, a mobile phone was found on each of them, which was suspected of being used to organize sports betting.

The Crime Investigation Specialists of Police Station No. 5 arrested citizen GS(J.), 39 years old, in flagrante delicto, after 1 slot machine and 1 mobile phone were found in the rented premises he managed, in Bathore, which were suspected of being used for gambling;
