At the request of the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier, personal security measures have been imposed against two minors and a 19-year-old woman, involved in the serious incident of violence against a minor, which was made public through images shared on social networks.
The security measure "Arrest in prison" has been assigned to citizen LL, the measure "House arrest" to minor KG, and the measure "Temporary admission to a psychiatric institution" to minor MR.
The three are suspected of committing, in collaboration, the criminal offense of "Unlawful Deprivation of Liberty", provided for by Article 110 of the Criminal Code.
The prosecution announces that facts have been identified that have raised reasonable doubts about the existence of this criminal offense. According to the prosecution, the evidence administered up to this stage of the investigation has dictated the need to take personal security measures against the persons under investigation.
The prosecution emphasizes that investigations will continue to fully elucidate the incident.
The event that shocked public opinion
The case became public after shocking footage was shared on social media, showing two minors brutally assaulting a 17-year-old girl, while another filmed the entire episode on a mobile phone. In the video, the young woman was physically abused and humiliated, while the footage spread rapidly across various platforms, causing strong reactions in public opinion.
According to the Fier Police, the incident occurred on June 8, 2026. That same day, the 17-year-old appeared at the Fier Police Station together with her mother, where she reported that she had been raped and filmed in the apartment of a 19-year-old woman by the latter and two 15-year-old minors.
After receiving the report, the Police immediately intervened and escorted the three suspected girls to the police station. During questioning, they admitted to having used violence against the 17-year-old, stating that the conflict had occurred for weak motives.
