Two family crimes are prevented which could have serious consequences for life in Burrel and Peshkopi.
The police announce that they have arrested two people who have used violence against their wives.
A 56-year-old man with the initials AH, a resident of Burrel, and a 39-year-old man from Peshkopia were put in handcuffs, after they repeatedly used physical violence against their wives.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Dibër General Jurisdiction, for further actions.
"The services of the Dibër and Mat Police Station, after the notification received about a citizen in the city of Peshkopia and a citizen in Burrel, who were raping their wives, immediately went to the given addresses. Thanks to timely intervention, they prevented two conflicts that could have serious consequences for life.
The Police Services arrested the following citizens in the act: AH, 56 years old, resident of Burrel; and DK, 39 years old, resident of Peshkopi, after repeatedly exercising physical violence against their wives", the police announced.
