The parents of Armela Hasaj, who became the "apple of contention" for the murder of Ramazan Mataj by her brothers, Arjon and Klisman Hasaj, in the village of Dragoç, Shkodra on the evening of January 4, have confessed that they have not spoken to their daughter for four years after discovering intimate photos of her with the victim.
In an interview for the show "With an Open Heart", her mother said that "my heart as a mother has suffered for 4 years", while when asked about the film materials she saw of Armela and Ramazan Mataj, she said: "By God, it would have been better if he had died."
Rustem Hasaj, the father of Armela, who is the mother of a 5-year-old girl, added that his daughter has been married twice by arrangement, and when asked if they will forgive their daughter, he replied that "we will leave it to time."
He stressed that only his wife has managed to meet their two sons arrested in prison, but added that they have not told him anything about the murder.

Mother Armela Hasaj: My heart as a mother has suffered for 4 years. I learned of the murder of Ramazan Mataj in Tirana where I had gone to visit, they came and took the husband. I didn't think it would be the boys.
Have you seen the boys worried before January 4th?
Father: No, we haven't seen them.
Have you met the boys?
Father: I didn't, but I sent my wife and child to them one day. She didn't say anything, she just greeted them.
Mother: The boys didn't say anything to me. They just stayed with the children.
How long has it been since you spoke to Armela?
Father: Since that night when her sister-in-law came, we haven't communicated with Armela. It's been 4 years.
How did her two marriages come about?
Father: By matchmaking. He agreed to marry both times.
The sisters claim that the second husband had materials on his phone that the victim sent him?
Father: They brought them to me at midnight, I couldn't see them.
Mother: By God, it would have been better if he had died.

Father: Since 2020, when he tried to enter the family and filed a complaint, we have left justice to him.
