As a result of the coordination of information and police actions, between Interpol Tirana and counterparts in Sweden, the procedure was finalized for the extradition to Albania of the citizen declared internationally wanted, arrested in Sweden, KK alias KM, 34 years old, born in Fier.
The Special Court of the First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, in 2022, assigned to this citizen, the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense "Aiding illegal border crossing", committed in the framework of organized criminal group.
The citizen KK alias KM is accused that during the period 2020-2021, in collaboration with other citizens, he illegally transported Syrian, Egyptian and Iranian immigrants by boat to Italy and other countries, against profits," the police announced.
