A serious accident resulting in the death of one person was registered this evening in the city of Berat.
It is learned that a 50-year-old man who was riding a bicycle was hit to death by a vehicle driven by a 49-year-old man. The police have arrived at the scene and are working to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident.
Police notification:
Around 8:40 p.m., on Kuçova street, citizen AM, 49 years old, resident of Berat, driving a vehicle, had an accident resulting in the death of citizen BD, 50 years old, who was riding a bicycle.
The driver of the vehicle was escorted to the premises of the Berat Police Station for further action.
The investigative team is at the scene and is working to clarify the circumstances and cause of the accident.
