He killed his ex-wife, the judge, the Supreme Court leaves Fadil Kasem in prison for life

The Supreme Court has upheld the life sentence of Fadil Kasemi, who killed the wife of former judge Gildez Hafizi.

The court announces "Rejection of the appeal submitted by the defendant Fadil Kasëmi, against the decision no. 39, dated 15.05.2019, of the Court of Appeal for Serious Crimes in Tirana".

Fadil Kasemi shot dead the former judge in his second attempt, after disagreements in the couple and separation from her, in August 2017. A crime that the accused did not admit at first, justifying himself with mental problems, but that the expertise brought him out mentally competent.
