The Greek police have revealed a criminal event that happened on November 5, 2023, when the 26-year-old Greek Dimitriou Sampri was injured with a firearm in Halkidonia, Thessaloniki.
Two Albanians, Altin Ibrahimi, 41 years old, and Edmir Semanjaku, 38 years old, were arrested as perpetrators of attempted murder, where the 26-year-old Greek was injured.
The cause of the incident is understood to be the disagreements between Semanjak and Sampri. During the interrogation, Ibrahimi stated that he hit the ground with a weapon and not towards the 26-year-old, while Semanjaku stated that he had nothing to do with the conflict but was at the scene.
The police also seized a BME vehicle owned by Altin Ibrahimi, which was used to leave the scene.
Altin Ibrahimi has serious criminal records. In March of this year, he was caught in Thermi of Thessaloniki with 1 kg 62 grams of cocaine. During the arrest he presented a forged document with the identity of Dyonisios Vlahos. During the search of his apartment, 3 scales, 5640 euros and fake documents were found, while 2 mobile phones were seized from his vehicle.
During the verifications, it turned out that he was wanted with an arrest warrant from the Athens Prosecutor's Office for criminal organization, forgery and perjury. It turns out that he escaped from a prison in France in May 2016 where he was arrested for drug trafficking. Ibrahimi has a criminal record in Greece for criminal organization, forgery, perjury, extortion, robbery, aggravated theft, arson and possession of weapons without a permit.
The other arrested Edmir Semanjaku also has a criminal record in Greece.
