A 29-year-old man ended up in police custody, after being accused of using foreign nationals for prostitution in Albania.
It is reported that Tritan Guni initially established contacts with these foreign citizens, who were accommodated in Albania. Then, in cooperation with his sister, 36-year-old Bukurije Guni, through blackmail, they forced and used them for prostitution against monetary benefits.
The brother and sister allegedly coerced and used foreign nationals aged 44, 39, 32 and 25 years old for monetary benefits through blackmail. 3 of the foreigners are from Kazakhstan, while the smallest is from Colombia, part of the 'Escort Tirana' group.
The 29-year-old man was caught red-handed by the police on Dibra Street taking 100 euros from two foreign citizens, which he allegedly used for prostitution and was arrested.
The brother and sister had set up a veritable prostitution scheme. They also had a page called Tirana Escorts where they advertised foreign girls who came mainly from Kazakhstan and Colombia. For the girls who came to Tirana, the two organizers provided accommodation as well as payments for each client. The price for one of the girls varied up to 250 euros for sexual intercourse.
Meanwhile, the police are working to arrest the 29-year-old's sister, involved in the prostitution scheme.
"The police operation coded "Foreign", by the Section for the Investigation of Illegal Traffic in the DVP Tirana, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, has been finalized. He used foreign citizens for prostitution, was caught and put in 29-year-old handcuffed. Criminal proceedings are underway against 4 women involved in prostitution. Another woman involved in this criminal activity is being arrested.
Specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Illegal Traffic, in the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, following the work on the attacks of illegalities in any form of their appearance, in the framework of a criminal proceeding of the year 2023, have organized and finalized the coded police operation "Foreign".
As part of this operation, citizen TG, 29 years old, resident in Tirana, was arrested for the criminal offenses "Prostitution", "Exploitation of prostitution", "Maintaining facilities for prostitution", and "Trafficking of adults".
This citizen was caught in the act, on Dibra Street, taking 100 euros from two foreign citizens, which he allegedly used for prostitution.
From the investigative actions carried out, it was found that the 29-year-old man, after establishing contacts with foreign citizens who were staying in Albania, and in cooperation with his sister, a citizen of BG, 36 years old, through blackmail, forced and used them for prostitution, against monetary benefits.
Following these actions, criminal proceedings were initiated against 4 foreign citizens, aged 44, 39, 32, and 25. We are working on the capture of the citizen BG. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office, i.e. the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further actions," the police announced.
