Klered Bozhanaj, the 42-year-old man who wounded Edlir Alleshi with two bullets in the abdomen on September 20, 2023, appeared before the Tirana court today.
The two officers were chasing him as he had left when they approached.
Meanwhile, a few minutes after the moment when 42-year-old Klered Bozhanaj wounded the "Eagles" officer in a building in "Kinostudio", on "Hysen Xhura" street in Tirana, with two bullets in the abdomen.
In the video, the injured officer is seen pulling away in shock, while the other officer is also seen leaving quickly, to enter a bar and ask for help.
His statements have further increased the suspicions that the 42-year-old may have mental health problems. The investigative team has requested full forensic expertise which will determine if the accused suffers from mental illness.
