The protest against the government and Prime Minister Rama continued this evening in the capital, marking the 38th consecutive day of citizen rallies in front of the Prime Minister's Office.
After the speeches, the protesters organized a march along some of Tirana's main streets. The column of citizens first passed through the former Blloku area and then headed towards the Republic Guard, near the Polytechnic, where the participants stopped for a few minutes, continuing their anti-government chants.
Throughout the route, protesters held banners and national flags, while chants such as "Rama, resign!", "Your end has come!", "Revolution!", "Down with the dictatorship!" and "The Albania of the youth, not the party!" were constantly heard.
The march was accompanied by temporary blockages of several road axes, while citizens reiterated their demand for the removal of the government and political change.
After stopping near the Republican Guard, the protesters returned to the Prime Minister's Office building, where they concluded the march and protest activity of the 38th day.
Organizers and participants declared that the protests will continue in the coming days, emphasizing that the civic movement will not stop until their political demands are met.
