The serious incident that left an 81-year-old man injured in Korça is clarified.
According to what the police say, the author Gëzim Agollari has been arrested. From the conducted investigations, it appears that in a drunken state, the two people had a conflict inside the apartment for weak motives.
It is also learned that the author is also injured from the fight, but without life-threatening problems. According to the police, these two elderly people were friends with each other with an approximate age.
The author has stated that they drank in the 81-year-old's apartment and then started to quarrel without having any specific reason.

The services of the Korçë Police Station, in cooperation with the Specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Crimes against the person of the DVP Korçë, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, following the work on clarifying and documenting this event with legal evidence, made it possible to identify and capture the suspected author. As a result, the citizen was arrested in the act: -GA, 72 years old, resident of Korça.
From the actions carried out, it appears that this citizen was together with the citizen GT, in the latter's apartment, where it is suspected that in a drunken state he hit the 81-year-old with hard objects. Citizen GT continues to be in the hospital of Korça under the care of doctors. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the Korçë General Jurisdiction, for further actions for the criminal offense "Deliberate serious injury", it was stated in the police announcement.
