A 61-year-old man in Tirana has fallen into the hands of the Police, after an automatic firearm, a comb and military ammunition, as well as a knife-cutting tool were found in his apartment.
Through an announcement, the Police announced that the 61-year-old was a resident of the village of Kutreq, the name of which the operation was also named.
"Tirana- In implementation of the measures defined in the nationwide operational plan "Rule of Law", the coded police operation "Kutreq" was finalized. The operation was carried out by the Police Station No. 4. Automatic firearms, combs and combat ammunition were found. as well as a knife-cutting tool, in the apartment, the 61-year-old man was arrested in the act.
Services of Police Station No. 4, following the work to prevent and combat criminal activity in the field of illegal weapons possession, in accordance with the measures defined in the nationwide operational plan "Rule of Law", they organized and finalized the coded police operation "Kutreq". As a result of this operation, a SA citizen, 61 years old, living in Kutreq, Tirana, was arrested in the act.
During the search in the 61-year-old's apartment, in the village of Kutreq, the police services found and seized as material evidence, 1 automatic firearm, comb and combat ammunition, as well as a knife cutting tool. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further actions," the police announced.
