Tirana police director Tonin Vocaj has reacted to the injury in Tirana. The event took place in the area of the Municipality of Paris around 14:00. According to official data, the author is a police officer, part of the border police.
It is known that the officer Erion Goxhara had a fight with the 45-year-old Lorenc Kosta. The latter is suspected of having harassed his partner, and the officer in the argument took out his service weapon and shot her in the leg.
Vocja himself said that they are in negotiations with him to surrender.
" We are working to locate and catch the author. The greatest probability is that it was shot with the service weapon. But we are conducting investigations. The author shot him in the lower part of the body, which shows that he did not intend to kill him, but the expert report will show everything. We have no information about where the perpetrator and the victim live. I have communicated with the officer and we are working to catch the perpetrator. We call on the author to surrender ," he said.
