A 39-year-old man was arrested by the police of Korça, under the charge of crossing the border of illegal immigrants, while his two associates ended up in handcuffs.
The arrested persons identified as Ylli Kola, Fation Gjoka and Arian Rrushini were caught in the act while transporting 4 illegal immigrants, against payment.
The police announce that 2 vehicles and 3 mobile phones have been seized.
"A 39-year-old man was caught transporting 4 illegal immigrants in a vehicle against payment. His 2 associates were also arrested, who were checking the road with another vehicle, due to the presence of the Police.

The Illegal Traffic Investigation Specialists of DVP Korçë, following the work to combat the criminal activity of providing assistance to citizens from Third Countries, against payment, in order to illegally cross the border, towards EU countries, in cooperation with The Korçë-Elbasan Police Surveillance Agency, as well as with the support of the information provided by the information intelligence, finalized the coded police operation "Midnight 25".
As a result of this operation, the following citizens were arrested in the act: - YK, 39 years old, resident of Borizane, Fushë Krujë, A. Rr., 46 years old and F. Gj., 29 years old, both residents of Laç.
The Police Services, thanks to the organization of the actions, based on informational intelligence, during the operation, made it possible to capture the citizen YK, on the "Pogradec-Qafë Thane" road axis, transporting with the "Opel Zafira" type vehicle, 4 immigrants from illegals, who were promised passage to EU countries in return for payment. From the conducted investigations, it turns out that two other citizens, F. Gj., are implicated in this criminal activity. and A. Rr., who with a "Ford Focus" type vehicle, with a 29-year-old driver and a 46-year-old passenger, monitored the road, to signal the YK citizen, in case there was a presence of Police services on the road.
As material evidence, two vehicles and three mobile phones were seized. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the Korçë General Jurisdiction, for further actions," the police announced.
