Sakica and Troshani are wanted for a fight that occurred in June of last year.
The Shkodra Police have reacted to the surrender of Izmir Sakica and Samuel Troshani to the police. The two young men, who are suspected of being part of the Bajri group in Shkodra, surrendered to the police this morning. They were escorted to the authorities in the presence of their defense attorney, Sokol Tahiraj.
Their names have been rumored to be involved in several criminal events, including the assassination attempt in Dobraç where Hamza Lici, Arlind Bushati and 2 innocent citizens were killed.
Although it was said that their surrender is related to the assassination attempt in Dobraç, Shkodra, according to the official police announcement, the two young men have been arrested after being accused of the following criminal offenses: intentional injury, threats, and possession of weapons and ammunition without a permit.
This is about an event that occurred on June 3, 2024, during a conflict over a parking space on "Pogej" Street, where two young men injured a person with hard objects.
Izmir Sakicaj and Samuel Troshani had been wanted since June of last year for the violent altercation in which 62-year-old Vladimir Bruçi was injured. The security measure "Arrest in prison" was executed for 24-year-old Izmir Sakica and 25-year-old Samuel Troshani, ordered by the Shkodra Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction.
"Specialists of the Serious Crimes Investigation Sector executed the security measure "Arrest in prison", for citizens ST, 25 years old and IS, 24 years old, assigned by the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Shkodra, for the criminal offenses "Intentional minor injury", committed in collaboration, "Threat", committed in collaboration and "Unauthorized possession of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".
From the investigative actions, it is suspected that these citizens were involved in the conflict that occurred over the parking space of vehicles, on 03.06.2024, on "Pogej" street, during which citizen VB was physically attacked with hard objects.
Citizens ST and IS surrendered at noon today, at the premises of the Shkodra Local Police Directorate.
"The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Shkodra, for further action," the police announced.
