
A 28-year-old man from Konispoli has been arrested by Greek police, following an operation that led to the crackdown on an international cocaine trafficking case.
Greek police initially identified 30-year-old Iosif Samha, with a criminal record for similar offenses, who was arriving by plane from a foreign country. In his 2 suitcases, inside the "Eleftheros Venizelos" airport, police seized 16 packages with 17.3 kg of cocaine.
The 30-year-old carried out the transport on behalf of an Albanian citizen, identified with the initials A. S., who has been declared wanted.

By order of the latter, the narcotics were to be handed over to citizen Pajtim Kaleshi, 28 years old, resident of Konispol. The police spotted Kaleshi outside the airport and put him in handcuffs.
During the operation, narcotics, Pajtim Kaleshi's vehicle, 3 cell phones and 590 euros were seized.
It is learned that the drugs were obtained in Brazil. Greek citizen Iosif Samha went to Brazil a few days ago where he obtained the narcotics and traveled from Brazil to Athens, transiting through Qatar. Citizen Pajtim Kaleshi was to sell the drugs in Athens.
