The Prosecutor's Office of Tirana has closed the investigation by indicting Albano Velo and Andrea Bode, who are accused of being the people who participated in the murder of the businessman from Saranda, Edmond Papa.
The two defendants are the friends of Aleksandër Sadikaj, who was killed with tritol in the TEG area.
The serious event of Edmond Papa's murder was recorded in Tirana on December 16, 2022.
While after the crime, the police were able to arrest Albano Velo, the son of a former Police employee at Police Station No. 4 in Tirana, and announced the search for Andrea Bode.
The crime is related to a series of other events that happened in Saranda, Tepelena, Tirana and Greece, due to clashes between members of two criminal groups.
The murder of Edmond Papa took place 6 months after the execution of Aleksandër Sadikaj in the TEG roundabout in Tirana.
The young Sadikaj turns out to have slept exactly at the "Blues Sky" hotel, which is owned by Edmond Papa and the latter's brother Kristo Qirici.
This person but also other individuals, family members of the victim Aleksandër Sadikaj, on the operational road, allegedly had constant doubts that the murder of Sadikaj was organized in the city of Saranda, precisely in this hotel he had slept two days before he was executed with tritol in the car.
In continuation of these suspicions, family members and people from the circle accompanied by Aleksandër Sadikaj, have engaged privately to find out details with the aim of revenge for the murder of their relative.
In the target of family members and the father of Aleksandër Sadikaj himself, Edmond Papa, was the main person suspected as the author and organizer of this serious crime that happened on June 11, 2022./ Oranews
