The body of 29-year-old Angjelo Avdiu, who was missing since October 30, was found hanging from a tree in the yard of a house in the village of Dhiaspora, Kilini area.
The victim's body was discovered by the owner of the holiday home, who lived outside the Kilini area and had returned on Friday evening.
As soon as he reached the apartment, where he had not been for a long time, he felt the heavy smell.
The next morning (November 25) he started looking for where the heavy smell was coming from and was faced with the tragic scene.
He saw the body of the 29-year-old Albanian hanging from one of the trees of the apartment with his hands tied. Angelo Avdi's body was hung at a very high height in the tree, which was hardly noticeable.
The body of the 29-year-old was identified by his mother, who recognized her son's clothes.
Angelo's family is extremely shocked as they have no clue as to what might have happened to their son, while the police are also investigating the track of the organized murder.
Problems with ex-wife
It is learned that 29-year-old Angelo Avdiu, the father of a child, lived in Agios Konstantinos Fthiotidas and according to Greek media, he arrived in the area on Saturday, October 30, where he stayed with a relative.
His brother has discovered that the 29-year-old has come to the village to talk with his ex-wife, the mother of his child, in an attempt to fix the relationship between them.
"We came to talk to his ex-wife who was divorced. Sunday morning we were having coffee and suddenly he left without saying anything to anyone. He left all his things at home and his mobile phone. We are appealing for my brother to be found because he has not been very well recently. He also has a little son, 9 years old," he said at the time.
