New details have emerged regarding the murder of 57-year-old Petrit Ndou, during the night by Andi Vokri, on the Mamurras-Krujë road, Bushnesh.
It is learned that the perpetrator hit the deceased with a hard object (a hammer) and that the cause of the conflict was due to weak motives.
Ndou was traveling in the car with his wife, while the suspected perpetrator, a 28-year-old man with the initials AV, was accompanied by two other people, close associates of his.
After the collision between the cars, the parties got out arguing with each other and then the conflict escalated to the point of using hard objects.
Police sources indicate that the argument initially took place with words like "Why are you driving like that? We're going to have an accident."
All witnesses have been questioned by the investigation team. The victim and the perpetrator do not appear to have had any prior acquaintance.
"Around 00:40, on the "Thumanë-Krujë" road axis, it is suspected that during a conflict for weak motives, citizen PN, 57 years old, was hit with hard objects and as a result lost his life.
"The Police Services have arrested and escorted the suspected perpetrator and a citizen who may have knowledge of the incident, but due to the investigation, their details are not being released. The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is working to clarify and document the circumstances of the incident. At the conclusion of the investigative actions, full information will be provided," the police statement said.
