A serious accident occurred late Monday when two cars collided in Laç. As a result of the collision, a 25-year-old man lost his life and two other young men were injured.
The victim has been identified as Elinor Tusha, a passenger in the vehicle driven by Gentian Xhaferi. The latter and another passenger, Leandro Fufi, both 23 years old, were transported to the Trauma Hospital, where they received medical attention and are reportedly out of danger.
Police have escorted the driver of the other vehicle, citizen Aron Zyma, while they have launched investigations into the serious accident.
Details from the Police
At around 22:00, in the city of Laç, a vehicle driven by citizen AZ collided with a vehicle driven by citizen G. Xh.
As a result of the accident, citizen ET, about 25 years old, who was a passenger in the vehicle of citizen G. Xh., died.
Also, the driver of the vehicle, citizen G. Xh., 23 years old, and the other passenger, citizen LF, 23 years old, were transported for medical assistance, and are in a non-life-threatening condition at the Trauma Hospital.
Citizen AZ was accompanied to the Police Station for further procedural actions.
The investigation team continues to work to determine the causes and circumstances of the accident.
