Security measures are given to 5 police officers

Authorities have imposed security measures against 5 State Police officers, including an officer from the RENEA special forces, suspected of involvement in illegal sports betting activities.

3 of the officers have been placed under house arrest, while the other 2 officers, as well as another citizen implicated in this case, have been banned from leaving the country.

It is learned that the investigations were conducted on behalf of the Elbasan Prosecutor's Office.

The identities of the detained officers are still unknown, while further details are expected later.
