
A festival in Metamorfosi (Crete) ended in a bloody brawl in the early hours of Saturday, with 4 people reportedly injured with sharp objects and knives. The injured are 3 Albanians and a Cretan resident.
The incident occurred at around 02:30, at the intersection of Ermou and Lykourgou streets. According to initial information, the incident occurred when a group of Albanians who were leaving the festival got into an argument with other Albanians over a trivial matter.
"Why are you looking at me, move away so I can pass" was the start of the confrontation, which quickly escalated into a wild knife fight. At least 20 people were involved in the fight.
Four people were injured in the incident and taken to the KAT. They are two Albanians, born in 1999 and 2000, with serious injuries to the chest, ribs and armpit; a Greek, born in 2000, with a wound from a sharp object in his back, which was hit when he entered the fight to separate them; and another Albanian, born in 2000, with injuries to his arm, ribs, chest and bruises on his face.
