The police arrested the technical manager of a construction company, while a day before, a 44-year-old worker lost his life after falling from a height.
The police announced the arrest of the citizen with the initials M.Ç, 40 years old, with the duties of technical manager of a building construction entity, for the criminal offense of "Violation of the rules of protection at work".
"Specialists for the Investigation of Crimes of the Tropoja Police Station, detained the citizen M. Ç., 40 years old, resident in Tirana, with the duties of technical manager of a building construction entity, for the criminal offense of "Violation of the rules of protection at work ".
This citizen is suspected of not having taken the measures to implement the rules of protection at work in the construction of a building in the city of Bajram Curri.
Yesterday, during the work in this building, citizen AS, 44 years old, resident of the village of Gri, fell from the fifth floor and died as a result of the injuries he received.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Kukës, for further actions ", the police announced.
