
Police have arrested a 37-year-old man who was driving around Tirana with a firearm in his vehicle.
The young man Amarildo Kashari, who was driving the vehicle, and 39-year-old Amarild Zaçe were arrested. During the police search, Armando Kashari was caught with a firearm, a pistol, and ammunition in his waistband, and is accused of the criminal offense of "Unlicensed Weapons Possession".
While Amarild Zaçe was also arrested for the criminal offense of "Failure to Report a Crime", after failing to report the presence of a weapon. During the interview by police officers, both of these citizens showed signs of nervousness.

The 37-year-old was arrested for driving a vehicle armed with a firearm.
The passenger was also in handcuffs for failing to report a crime.
The firearm, pistol, and combat ammunition were seized.
As a result of continuous field checks, with the aim of preventing and combating illegalities, supported by police intelligence, the Special Force "Eagle" in cooperation with Police Commissariat No. 2 have organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Flagrance 2" within which the following citizens were captured and arrested:
AK, 37 years old, for the criminal offense of "Unlicensed Weapon Possession" and AZ, 39 years old, for the criminal offense of "Failure to Report a Crime".
As part of this operation, on "Isuf Elezi" street, the Police services stopped for inspection the vehicle driven by citizen A. K, and passenger AZ.
During the interview by the police officers, both of these citizens showed signs of nervousness. Following the actions, after the physical search of citizen A. K, the Police services found a firearm, a pistol, and combat ammunition in his waistband, which were seized as material evidence.
"The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action ," the police announced.
