New details have emerged regarding the stabbing of a 29-year-old man yesterday in Korçë.
According to the police report, the citizen with the initials KR, stabbed himself after an argument with his wife and father-in-law.
It is learned that the young man was intoxicated when he committed the act and that criminal proceedings have been initiated against him. The injured man is in hospital receiving medical treatment, and it is stated that his life is out of danger.
"Following the preliminary information provided yesterday, where citizen RK, 29 years old, went to the hospital injured with a knife, we inform you that: From the investigations conducted by the Crime Investigation Specialists at the Korça Police Commissariat, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against citizen KR, 29 years old, resident of Korça, as it is suspected that in a drunken state after a conflict with his wife and father-in-law, this citizen injured himself with a knife and is currently receiving medical assistance out of danger to his life," the police statement states.
