The road accident in Sicily has claimed another life. After several days in critical condition in hospital, 39-year-old Albanian Tili Pilinci, who was seriously injured in the collision that occurred on March 3 on the Naro-Camastra highway, has also passed away.
Doctors treated Pilinci in the intensive care unit of the Villa Sofia hospital in Palermo. He remained in critical condition for four days, but did not survive the injuries he suffered in the accident.

After the accident, Pilinci was initially taken to the “Barone Lombardo” hospital in Canicattì and then transferred to Palermo for more specialized treatment. Doctors initially considered his condition to be very critical.
The vehicle was carrying several Albanian workers living in Canicattì and Naro. According to preliminary data, they had recently arrived in Italy and worked in the agricultural sector. At the time of the accident, shortly before dawn on Monday, they were traveling to their workplace.
