Yesterday evening, numerous police forces and RENEA armored the city of Vlora in an action to catch problematic persons.
It is learned that five people have been accompanied, while the identity of two of them has been revealed. It is about Bruno Shehu and Sentiljano Basho.
The latter is the brother of one of Selenica's known problematic persons, Tesi Basho, accused of a series of crimes in Italy and Albania. Tesi Basho has been sentenced to life in prison in Italy for drugs, weapons and forgeries. Two pistol-type firearms were seized and it is being verified who these weapons belong to.
It is also learned that at the time of the intervention, the detainees had a resistance to the officers who were dressed as civilians, but not to RENEA, which acted immediately by escorting them to the Vlora police station.
"They were all five in the same environment. We have information that they had residences against the Police. It is suspected that there may have been a resistance to the officers who were civilians, but not to RENA", he said.
