RENEA forces armored Vlora on Sunday evening, during an action that continued for several hours.
RENEA carried out checks in several areas of the coastal city, while 5 people were escorted to Vlorë-Skelë boulevard.
The 5 armed escorts were caught in a bar, while they were being monitored by civilian agents, with whom they clashed.
RENEA also stopped the brother of 'Tes of Selenica', the so-called strong man of this area. It is about Satilno Basha, an exponent also known by the blue forces. Santilno Basho was convicted in 2019 for 'forced coercion to give property'. It is suspected that he threatened his uncle to get money.
During the operation, two pistols were seized. It is not yet known who the weapons found by RENEA forces belong to, as they were found in the bar where the accomplices were.
Also, policemen were seen counting money at the scene.

In addition to the RENEA forces, the Blues of Vlora in cooperation with the FNSH are carrying out controls in the anti-drug mega-operation 'Tempulli'. As part of this operation, 90 arrest warrants were issued, 69 have been executed and 21 are still wanted.
