A 33-year-old man in Kavaja was hit in the head with an ax in an attempt to kill him. The event took place in a bar in neighborhood No. 4 after a fight between two people.
The police say that the suspect Artur P. 52 years old had a conflict with the 33-year-old I.Gj. for weak motives. He tried to kill her with an ax by hitting her on the head, which caused injuries.
As a result, the 33-year-old was sent to the Trauma Hospital for more specialized treatment.

According to the police, after the conflict in his bar, the owner destroyed the scene, while when he was questioned by the police officer, he stated that the injured 33-year-old citizen was injured after falling down the stairs. During the check on Elton D.'s mobile phone, the police services found open pages that serve gambling.
In addition, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings were initiated in a free state for the citizen AD, 31 years old, resident of Kavajë, a customer of this bar, as pages that serve for gambling were also found open on his mobile phone.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Durrës, for further actions.
