
The Lezha Court has imposed the security measure "prison arrest" without a term for Klevis Ndreca and Daniel Gjeloshi, two arrested in connection with the gunfight that occurred a few days ago in Laç, where one person was killed and four others were injured, including a street vendor.
Klevis Ndreca was present in the courtroom to learn about the verdict, while Daniel Gjeloshi, who is under medical care due to his injuries, was represented by his defense attorney.
After reviewing the materials and hearing the parties, Judge Lirim Buluca considered their arrest lawful and imposed the measure of "prison arrest" for the criminal offenses of "murder" and "unauthorized possession of firearms."
From the investigative data it results that Klevis Ndreca was in the car together with Amarildo Ndoj, while Daniel Gjeloshi was traveling with Liridon Ismailaj and Gerald Bitri.
According to the investigation, the conflict began after a collision of car mirrors while driving. The parties agreed to stop and clarify matters at a certain place, but as soon as they got out of the vehicles, Ndreca opened fire with a gun.
The two young men shot at each other. Klevis Ndreca's shooting injured three people, including his friend Amarildo Ndoj and a street vendor.
Gerald Bitri, who was among the injured, later died in hospital. Meanwhile, Daniel Gjeloshi shot at his opponents, but did not injure any of them. Investigations are still ongoing into this incident to fully clarify its circumstances.
