Kruja police have arrested a 38-year-old man who is accused of defrauding citizens by extorting various amounts of money and even threatening them not to report or withdraw their reports.
Official sources announced today that the money was embezzled through fraud, according to the victims' accounts, while also committing the crime of intimidation.
"The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Kruja Police Commissariat on their own initiative detained citizen AK, 38, after it is suspected that he has taken various amounts of money from several citizens through fraud, and has threatened a citizen to withdraw the report made against him," the police said.
