The escalation of a conflict in the village of Kutalli in Berat has been prevented.
Police have arrested a 36-year-old man who raped his two uncles and damaged one of their vehicles with an axe.
His 26-year-old friend, who helped him in this fight, has also been criminally prosecuted.
After conducting checks, the police found a small amount of cocaine in the 36-year-old's car.
"Berat/Quick police intervention prevented the escalation of a conflict in the village of Kutalli. The arrested man had 64.3 grams of cocaine in his vehicle, with the intention of selling it. A 26-year-old man is being prosecuted for collaborating in the rape of the relatives of the 36-year-old. The quantity of narcotics, the arrested man's vehicle and a hard object (axe) were seized.
Immediately after the notification of a conflict in the village of Kutalli, the services of the Dimal Police Station, in cooperation with the structures of the Berat DVP, organized the work and went to the scene, in order to clarify the circumstances of the case.
As a result of quick police action, the escalation of this conflict was prevented and citizen VP, 36 years old, resident of the village of Kutalli, was arrested.
For weak motives, the 36-year-old is suspected of raping his two uncles and damaging the vehicle of one of them with a hard object (axe). A search of his vehicle revealed 64.3 grams of cocaine, which he was suspected of possessing with the intent to sell.
Following the procedural actions in the case, proceedings were initiated in the absence of citizen KZ, 26 years old, resident of Kuçovë, as he is suspected of having collaborated with his friend, citizen VP, in the rape of 2 citizens. The procedural materials were referred to the Berat Prosecutor's Office for further actions," the police announced.
