Quarrel in Palasa, the police announce the search for Fatmir Bejon; who is the 30-year-old who took the businessman hostage a year ago?

The police have announced the search for two more people for the fight in Palasa. A citizen was massacred in the bar and it was initially reported that two young men were wanted. But after reports in the media that there were two other people involved, the police changed their version.

She informs that citizen Fatmir Bejo has been declared wanted, along with a 32-year-old identified as Klajdi Cerri.

Bejo is a well-known name, since a year ago he was arrested with his brother after they were accused of taking construction businessman Gjergj Fela hostage, claiming an outstanding debt of 25 thousand euros.

Earlier, Xhoni Spaho, 28, from Tirana, and Genti Baleci, 49, were declared wanted. The wanted Xhoni Spaho turns out to have run for deputy in the 2021 elections from the ranks of the 'Alliance for New Democracy' Party led by Edmond Stojku.

Also, the police informs that no other citizen was injured during the fight, apart from the citizen with the initials GK

The investigative group under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office continued its investigative actions to identify other persons involved in the conflict that occurred around 02:20 in the morning on 25.08.2024, in the premises of a complex, in the village of Palase.

After the inspection of the cameras and the verifications carried out, it became possible to identify 2 other persons and announce them as wanted, specifically the following citizens:

FB, 30 years old, resident of Durrës, and KC, 32 years old, resident of Tirana.

Earlier, the police declared the citizens Xh. S., 28 years old, living in Tirana, and GB, 49 years old, living in Durrës.

Also, the investigative actions made it possible to identify another citizen, who was injured in this conflict for weak motives, specifically citizen FA, 42 years old, resident in Tirana.

The work continues for the capture of the wanted citizens, Xh. S., GB, FB, and KC

The additional procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office of Vlora for further actions ", the police informs.
