A 35-year-old man has been arrested by Tirana Police during an operation against the distribution of narcotics. The arrested man is Erald Tafani, who was stopped near a holiday home in Bërzhitë.
During the physical search and at his apartment, officers seized 833 grams of cocaine, 576 grams of cannabis, 930 euros that were allegedly obtained from drug sales, as well as the vehicle he was using.
According to preliminary investigations, the 35-year-old had obtained the narcotics with the intention of selling them in significant quantities. Police suspect that his activity was mainly concentrated in the Bërzhita area and Student City.
The arrest was carried out as part of the police operation codenamed "Implication", conducted by specialists from the Narcotics Investigation Section at the Tirana Local Police Directorate.
The procedural materials have been referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office, which will continue the investigation into this matter.

Following the operations conducted by the Tirana Police, with a focus on identifying and bringing to criminal responsibility citizens who, individually or in groups, have been involved in the provision and sale of narcotics in various areas of the capital, specialists from the Narcotics Investigation Section finalized the operation codenamed "Implication".
During the operation, citizen ET, 35 years old, resident of Tirana, was stopped near a holiday unit, in the village of Bërzhitë, and handcuffed.
During the physical search and in the apartment, he was found to have:
-833 grams of suspected narcotic substance Cocaine, 576 grams of suspected narcotic substance Cannabis Sativa and 930 euros suspected to have been obtained from the sale of narcotic substances. The items and money were seized as material evidence, along with the arrested person's vehicle.
Investigations suspect that he had obtained the narcotics with the intention of selling them in significant quantities, mainly in the area where he was arrested and in Student City.
"The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action ," the police announced.
