The Italian police arrested the Albanian youth yesterday evening, after he was caught selling hard drugs in the city.

The action took place in the "Porta Venezia" area, shortly before 10:00 p.m., as police officers noticed the 20-year-old, whose name was not disclosed, driving a small car registered to a company that he was renting them out and had stopped at the Palestro. The agents suspected that he was waiting for someone for illegal business.

Within a few minutes, a 36-year-old Italian came down from a nearby building and got into the car to leave a few moments later. The police stopped him immediately for checking, verifying that he had just bought one and a half grams of cocaine, paying 70 euros.

The police immediately arrested the driver of the car, finding in the glove box 20 doses with a total weight of 22 grams of cocaine, hidden inside two electrical outlets.

And in another bag, in the back seat, the police found 44 wrappers with 93 grams of cocaine. The 20-year-old was known to be homeless, while 830 euros in cash were also found with him, which were seized and are suspected to be income from illegal activity. The Albanian is undergoing investigations to discover the criminal network with which he cooperated for the supply of the expensive goods.
