A criminal group has been hit in Fier. The Prosecution Office and the Fier Police have held a press conference, where they provided information regarding the hit on the arms trafficking group.
The group operated in arms trafficking and the production and sale of narcotics.
It is learned that 4 socially dangerous people have been arrested.
Citizens BB, 48 years old, sentenced in Italy to 30 years in prison for prostitution and illegal possession of weapons, NO, 53 years old, Q.SH, 48 years old, and BB, 33 years old, were arrested. Another person from Fier was also investigated at large.
"They were carrying firearms for criminal purposes. This activity was carried out in several cities. In some cases, the weapons were also provided from Kosovo. Investigations show that this group was also involved in narcotic plants and the sale of cannabis. 8 business inspections were carried out, two inspections of weapons storage and other locations. 4 thousand narcotic plants were seized, 2 thousand in a parcel and 2 thousand in a cube. 3 automatic firearms, two blood weapons and over 600 cartridges were seized. 5 thousand cannabis seeds were seized," the police said.
