New footage has been released from the massive fire that engulfed the building complex near the QSUT. The footage shows how the polystyrene used for the exterior insulation of the building has been charred and is still burning, while firefighters are trying to put out the flames.
The flames are suspected to have started on the first floor of the complex, while the causes are still unclear. The fire was reported by residents of the area, who noticed the rapid spread of flames and the presence of thick smoke. Police and firefighters immediately arrived at the scene and evacuated the residents of the entire building.
