20 people out of 35 members of a criminal group were arrested by the State Police after distributing drugs in Tirana.
According to the police, during the anti-drug operation, 3.5 kg of cocaine, 50 doses of heroin, 100 doses of cannabis and 5 vehicles were seized.
The criminal group operated near schools and facilities frequented by the capital's youth. They were caught by the police after a 4-month investigation, while distributing drugs in nightclubs and near schools.
Included in this group is Enea Sulejmani, who was arrested on March 22 on Kavaja Street in an attempt to escape from Anti-Drug agents, after trying to hit them with a car.
The head of Intercity Transport, Sulejmani, was caught with 1 kg of cocaine in the car, while with him were two others, Igli Begaj, Shkëlqim Osteni, who are in prison.
Part of this group is alleged to have been the RENA operative, Ervis Shkurta. He cooperated with the group that wanted to exchange 1 kg of cocaine, and at the moment when Sulejmani collided with Antidrioga's agents, Skurta informed the other group to leave.
Meanwhile, the names of 20 people arrested as part of the operation "Tempulli 3" are published.

Hello!
I am here today, together with the Deputy Director for the Investigation of Serious Crimes, the Deputy Director for Public Order and Security, and the Head of the Narcotics Investigation Sector, to present the results of the mega-operation coded "Temple 3" within the framework of which a group that distributed narcotics cannabis, heroin and cocaine was hit in different areas of Tirana, near schools, as well as in nightclubs.
The Local Directorate of the Tirana Police, in implementation of the measures defined in the school security package and the priority of the State Police, in order to guarantee a safer environment for students and to prevent negative phenomena in the future, has developed controls and operations to hit elements or criminal groups that try to develop criminal activity involving young people.
Sektori për Hetimin e Narkotikëve në Drejtoria Vendore e Policisë Tiranë, në vijim të operacioneve të njëpasnjëshme të zhvilluara për parandalimin, evidentimin dhe goditjen e veprimtarisë kriminale në fushën e narkotikëve, dhe në vijim të dy megaoperacioneve mbarëkombëtare “Tempulli 1” dhe “Tempulli 2”, bazuar në inteligjencën informative, në muajin janar kanë referuar materialet në Prokurorinë pranë Gjykatës së Shkallës së Parë të Juridiksionit të Përgjithshëm Tiranë, e cila regjistrojë procedimin penal me nr. 496 viti 2024.
Pas një hetimi katërmujor, me metoda speciale të Hetimit nga Specialistët për Hetimin e Narkotikëve në Drejtorinë Vendore të Policisë Tiranë nën drejtimin e Prokurorisë pranë Gjykatës së Shkallës së Parë të Juridiksionit të Përgjithshëm Tiranë, u siguruan prova ligjore për dokumentinin e veprimtarisë kriminale të 35 shtetasve.
Mbi bazën e provave të siguruara gjatë hetimit, u organizua dhe finalizua faza e tretë e operacionit “Tempulli”, në kuadër të cilit u kapën dhe u vunë në pranga 20 persona, u ekzekutua masa e sigurisë “Arrest në burg” për 5 shtetas të cilët janë të arrestuar më parë gjatë operacioneve, si dhe vijon puna për kapjen e 10 shtetasve të tjerë.
Gjatë operacionit u arrestuan 20 shtetas ndaj të cilevë Gjykata e Shkallës së Parë e Juridiksionit të Përgjithshëm Tiranë, ka caktuar masën e sigurimit personal “Arrest në burg”, për veprën penale “Prodhimi dhe shitja e narkotikëve”, konkretisht:

Gjatë operacionit u sekuestruan në cilësinë e provës materiale:
3.5 kg lëndë e dyshuar narkotike kokainë
50 doza me lëndë dyshuar narkotike heroinë
100 doza me lëndë të dyshuar narkotike kanabis
27 telefona celular të markave të ndryshme
5 automjete të markave të ndryshme.
The investigation showed that these citizens distributed narcotics near schools and in other places frequented by young people, in different areas of Tirana.
Narcotics Investigation Specialists at DVP Tirana in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction Tirana continue the investigative actions for the complete documentation of this criminal activity and for the identification and legal responsibility of the other persons involved.
In the framework of the excellent cooperation between the Prosecutor's Office of the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana and the Local Police Directorate of Tirana, we thank the prosecutor of this proceeding, Mr. Albert Demirneli and the head of the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, Mr. Arens Cela, for the guidance, coordination and support for the successful completion of the proceedings.
At the same time, the Tirana Local Police Directorate thanks the citizens for the numerous information provided about this criminal activity, which were important for the initiation of the investigation.
