A German tourist was trapped on the mountain of Vunoi in Himare, but was rescued by the police after 5 hours of searching.

It was a resident of the area who alerted the authorities around 10:20 in the evening of May 1 that a German tourist was stranded on the mountain of Vunoi due to darkness.

Based on the information, the police and the fire brigade managed to save the tourist after 5 hours of searching, around 03:00 on May 2. The tourist was in good health.

6 firefighters and 4 police officers from the Himara police station participated in the operation.
