A 29-year-old man who also owned a business has been arrested by Tirana Police as a narcotics distributor.
The arrested person is Enio Bendaj, who was seized with doses of cocaine and cannabis ready for sale, a sum of money and an electronic scale.
"Following the work to crack down on the criminal activity of distributing drugs in doses, based on information received that a citizen was distributing cocaine and cannabis narcotics in Astir, the services of Police Commissariat No. 6 have captured and arrested in flagrante delicto the citizen EB, 29 years old, resident of Tirana.
The arrest of this citizen was made after during the physical search, search of his apartment and business, the Police services found and seized as material evidence two plastic bags with suspected cocaine, divided into doses, ready for sale, a quantity of cannabis, 3 scales used for weighing the narcotic substance and an amount of money suspected to have been obtained from the sale of the narcotic substance.
The materials were passed to the Tirana Judicial District Prosecutor's Office, for the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics", the Police announced.
