An explosive explosion reportedly occurred on the morning of March 27, 2025, in the Patoku Lagoon, causing damage to an area about 50 meters away from a bar.
The news was made public by a citizen with the initials ZT, who notified the Police about the incident. According to sources, the explosive material was placed in some outdoor bathrooms, which were located far from the bar.
It is not yet known whether it was TNT or some other explosive substance, but samples from the scene have been sent for examination to specialized laboratories in Tirana. It is not yet known who was the target of this attack or the perpetrators of the incident.
Meanwhile, authorities continue investigations to clarify the causes and circumstances of this explosion, while police forces have been deployed to the area to secure the perimeter of the incident.
